The hotel is located in the bohemian side of the town, open since September 2006, and offers stylish rooms and suites in a quiet but central location near the train station, only a few metres from the city centre and the KÖ. Far from the plain and cold designer architecture, here different styles of décor and art meet each other. Baroque furnishings, fine natural stone flooring and natural lumbers coming from different continents surround the extraordinary living atmosphere. A unique collection of tin toys of a development and relief project for children from Madagascar emphasises the décor. All suites are provided with classical world literature so you can spend a spare minute enjoying the pleasure of reading. From sensational illustrated books, modern architecture, politics and cookery books, there’s something to suit everyone’s individual taste. And for the connoisseurs: selected wines – not available on the market – from renowned European vineyards are provided in your suite. Thrilled by the magic of the ‘Black continent’, different artists put on a distinctive lifestyle exclusively for the hotel and this is reflected in the hotel interiors. Due to many borrowings and inspirations deriving from the African crafts and architecture as well as a deep knowledge of materials and colours, a relaxed style of living was achieved which is both comfortable and in harmony with nature.

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
